wonderful photography as usual. I’ve been quite the shutterbug recently but never managed anything like this, all my photographs are a mix of annoying tourist/is this angle arty enough?
Thanks! And hey, you know what? My best trick — kid you not — is: pull the camera away from the eye. Let it do the looking. With digital, you can dump the dreck, select the good stuff. For this one, I squatted down and pointed in the right direction, but couldn’t get my eye behind the camera. I think I might have cropped a bit, but that’s it. No fancy-pants tweaking the exposure after the fact, since I don’t have the originals of these (burnt to a crisp in a hard disk death some years back).
