It was fantastic, to see so much portraiture all together. Through his camera's eye, he has looked into the faces of so, so many significant figures of the 20th century. There's one of Julian Bond and other SNCC people, part of his Civil Rights Mov't portraits, that I couldn't keep from just speaking out loud to ("Thank you").
