Sister Sarah! Welcome aboard! I was wondering about you, wondering what you gals thought about this all. Very close to home indeed. If there's any room to stand in the actual meeting hall, you can count on me for huge radiating waves of moral support as you launch into those long two minutes. And if we do meet up (I'll look out for you), I'll save an "amor vincit omnia" button for you! Kid you not!

Love will be the only thing, other than a fierce, tensil-strength commitment to our kids and what's right, that will get us all through this stuff.

Hi LD,

You actually know me in real life...I'm the Sarah who was in your beloved's non-lesbian (but with three of us) mom's group! :) How's that for cryptic. Trying to respect your privacy here. Anyway, just wanted to thank you for taking the time to talk about the hullabaloo in Alameda. That's where my family is living now, and so of course it's hitting VERY close to home...it IS home. Anyway, I'll hopefully be speaking tomorrow at the board meeting (will be the longest two minutes of my fear-of-public-speaking life!). Hope to see you there. I found this post in a really web-like weird way...from the comments on a blog from a link from a blog...my cousin's friend's cousin once removed, etc. So neat to see you on here and after taking a look around, I'll be back. It feels a bit stalker-ish since I know you kinda, but I guess that's what blogging is all about!

:-)

Hugs to your whole family,

Sarah
