Especially when it’s your second one ever, and the big sister is bobbing up and down on a neighboring ostrich.

LesbianDad is a personal essay/photography blog. It began as a document of my parenthood but, like life, its ambit has stretched to include much more than I expected. My kids call me "Baba," and together we work toward a world in which amor really does vincit omnia.

See? The problem is every time I read your blog, I want to have babies with you people.
*Ouch* My uterus hurts.
GIMMIE.
nomnomnom.
You know I want him – why you tease me so, I don’t know.
If I move to San Fran can I borrow him sometimes?
…as if to say, “Hey, lady, there’s plenty enough love to go around!” C’mon over, hitch him up on your hip, and ride every carousel you find (it would make for a nice organizing device for a tour, though admittedly not as extensive as a Vertigo-themed one).
And Mr Lady, you hit the nail on the turkey baster! The lesbian baby boom plot, revealed.
Isn’t that Golden Gate Park? If not, it’s the spitting image. And we were there Sunday — riding the ostrich! Small world…
And a fine ostrich it is, isn’t it? Yep, GG Park itself. Amazing we didn’t bump into one another. Then again, we could have, and not exactly known it (both of us scratching our heads thinking, “There’s something about that guy that seems familiar…”)
We went for the free opera, lasted ’til the half time, and were irrevocably drawn to the carousel. Our friendly neighborhood carousel is still being refurbished, so we were carousel-starved. Haute culture for the under-seven set.
