I am so glad you posted about this film! My ex fiance was FTM and we talked a lot about parenting and his role, as he was going to be the stay at home dad. There are a lot of questions that come up for transgendered parents and their partners. Do you tell the kids if the transition took place prior to their birth? What do you tell them? What do you do with bigoted grandparents who still want to be in the kids lives? It intersects a lot with the same things stealth gender non-variants (my friend's term for people who are currently the gender they were assigned at birth but don't present like it) go through as parents but gets more complicated the more someone passes as the other gender in society.

I can't wait to see this film. I am going to request it from our local film festival!
