Yep, and I think that a lot of the time we could be selling -- I'm going out on a limb here -- we'll both be running after our wee (or not so wee) ones in an attempt to keep them from certain doom. Or fanning ourselves in middle-aged exhaustion (feet splayed out, etc.) over having just narrowly averted same. I'm going to sit back and watch the proceedings from that splayed position, hopefully with some freshly popped popcorn close to hand.

Polly,
Thanks for coming by and congrats to you on your TLL finalist status. I thoroughly enjoyed your series of posts - it was inspired of Robin to help me come up with something to write about and she didn't even realize it was all about me.

Love the photo of the sisters too. Reminds me of one I took in Rockridge recently.

Hope you have all good luck, though I think we're going to have to do some heavy selling to beat Dorothy & MB!

[...] Pondering this post and blue-ness, my first thoughts headed toward the usual metaphorical suspects or as LD says in her excellent foray, “the lugubrious direction.” I decided against that for several reasons, mostly because I was late and I wanted to do something quick and also because I just didn’t feel like hanging out with the usual suspects today.
