Merry Christmas, Baba!

[Yep, that's what you think it is. (For further elucidation, pls. refer to "Euphemisms for urinate" on this dandy page.) She did it of her own volition, positively flying to the bathroom with the banner headline trailing out of her mouth "I have to pee I have to pee I have to pee!" God bless us every one.]

Lesbian Dad is written by a parent who answers to the name "Baba" and works toward a world in which amor does indeed vincit omnia.

CONGRATULATIONS! To all of you!
Hallelujah!
It’s her Solstice Present for the whole family.
Urine, the gift that keeps on giving.
Wow.
Mazal Tov indeed!
Hooray!
Until today I was convinced that 2 had become an avid reader of your blog. His behaviour follows monkey’s as described in ‘O Holy Cow’ so closely, that I had started to consider how to ask you to consider being less explicit.
He is also regularly coated in all kinds of dark sticky stuff. (Aside: I couldn’t bear to add this comment next to such a beautiful picture but my friend once instructed her son to ‘Chupa chupa’ realising all too late that his fingers were coated in an altogether other, dark substance)
Sadly, on the basis of this photo I know this is not the case. Or, if he is, he’s ignoring you as much as he is me. In the last few weeks he’s discovered both dress ups and imaginative play. Trying to see it from his point of view: if I had nothing better to do the toilet would be fine; if however, I was dressed in all my finery with dress, high heels and necklaces, on the train with dolly…..I’d probably forget too.
‘Merry Christmas Baba!’, in fact Merry Christmas to all of you from all of us. Thanks again, I’m still enjoying all your posts and pictures as much as ever. And remember…..Santa comes here first.
Congratulations!
Wait till you get the “come look…this one is shaped like a xxx…” My nephew would call in family members to view the “clouds” displayed in the toilet bowl.
I foresee singing in her future, too, if she’s at all like our family. Upon arriving home from a long road trip, we’ll belt “Gotta Pee” just like Gene Kelly singing “Gotta Dance!” in Singing In The Rain.
Merry Christmas to everyone!
