It’s a Cheney!

happygrandparents

Eeek! What’s wrong with this picture? Right! No parents!

More on the the Mary n’ Heather baby news, along with the ACTUAL official White House photo of the proud kin, from Pam Spaulding at the Blend and her berth at Pandagon. The Family Pride Blog has a piece on it, along with ample community chit-chat. And Dana at Mombian provides a synopsis of media coverage, from closeting to bumbling to — surprise! — factually accurate.

My only two cents on it today: May amor vincit omnia.

Damn – I shouldn’t have looked at your blog before bed because this picture is going to give me nightmares!

Got to quote what you said to the $120B Iraq war compromise news bit you posted, in a round-up of the more consequential Vice Presidential news of the day:

And how much will end up in a trust fund for the latest hatchling (grandchild) of Dick Cheney, who’s stock happens to be worth at least 3000% more than it was before this war started.

    Mmmmyep.

Still curious? You'll find a ton more on the About page. Or the Glossary. Or the Best of LD. The closest thing to an origin story can be found in this six-post series, excerpted from an essay of mine describing the dawn of my lesbian fatherhood.
