&lt;font color=#999999&gt;Later, more sober note:&lt;/font&gt; Aw heck, all children are gorgeous, and the photographs have a turbo-booster on them, since I am beginning to use some of the lenses bequeathed by Barbara (the &lt;a href="http://lesbiandad.net/2007/03/01/notes-from-a-memorial-revisited/"&gt;dear friend of the dear friend&lt;/a&gt;).  I now benefit from seeing things through what used to be her eyes.  Which makes the vision all the more precious.  Me, I'm just a fortunate witness-bearer.
